Description: Areas of drainage channels in eastern pima county identified by maintenance organization and responsibilities. Currently for RFCD internal use only. Known Errors/Qualifications: Hand drawn polygons where gaps exist. Modifications ongoing as per Mare Hodshon Yates. -Ray This data layer began as being ONLY those drainageways in Green Valley. The layer has since been expanded to include drainage channels in other areas of the county. The gv in the layer name is a legacy of the initial extent of the layer. The coverage version of this layer includes interior polygons that can be identified by GVDWKEY=0. Lineage: Initially created as a shapefile the layer has since become a feature class in a geodatabase. Spatial Domain: Eastern Pima County Maintenance Organization: PCRFCD Maintenance Description: Recent ongoing updates by RFCD. RFCD is assigning maintenance values to those polygons already created and adding new polygons where needed. Maintenance format is GDB on gisdata@gdbmaint@sparcsde in rfcd_drainageways FDS and exported to shapefile daily.
