Description: dist_bos displays the five supervisorial districts in Pima County. Supervisor District legal boundaries are based on Pima County voting precinct legal boundaries. Each voting precinct is contained in one and only one Supervisor District. Known Errors/Qualifications: Although parcel-rectified, this GIS layer is for reference only and is not the final authority for voters' placement in a given Supervisor District. District boundaries effective 1/1/2005. Spatial Domain: Pima County Rectified: parcel Maintenance Organization: PC ITD GIS Maintenance Description: When Pima County Elections Division updates the Voting Precinct legal description, PC DOT GIS Division updates the corresponding Supervisor District boundary, if applicable. Attributes are updated when new supervisors are elected. While this layer is maintained in the Enterprise Geodatabase, it is exported to shapefile file maintenance format by a special process. Therefore, this layer's "Maintenance Format" reflects the format exported from the Geodatabase and not the true maintenance format.
