Description: elemsch displays the elementary school attendance area boundaries for each school district in Pima County. Known Errors/Qualifications: There are no schools in Redington and Empire. Students in these area may go to schools in Pinal or Santa Cruz County. Tucson International Airport, Reid Park, Saguaro National Park West, Tucson Mountain Park, Arthur Pack Regional Park are shown as void areas (no polygon). There may be cases in which an alternative school, intermediate school, or charter school shares the same attendance area as the primary school. Spatial Domain: Pima County Maintenance Organization: PC ITD GIS Maintenance Description: KJ collects data in shapefile or paper maps from the school district offices. She updates elemsch feature class in personal geodatabase in local coordinate system and then exported to the shapefile. The changes will be maintained annually by contacting each school district.
